Hello to our TBTA members….we hope you are well.

Meetings Cancelled Through May
We had a full schedule for our members this spring with informative speakers and pre-dinner displays at each of our March, April and May dinners…culminating with a Member and Partner Barbeque in June. In these days of COVID-19, while some of you are continuing to work as essential services, our meetings through March, April and presumably, May have been cancelled and it is likely that our BBQ will be delayed. We hope that if you are working you are able to continue physical distancing, have hand wash stations nearby for frequent handwashing and feel that you are able to work with as little risk as possible. If there is any information that you believe our organization should be distributing to our members at this time , please let me know and we will do our best to broadcast through e-blasts and our web-site.

Member Gift Card Program
We were looking for a way to provide value and support to our members during this challenging time as well as support our community. The Grey where we would have held our meetings is closed even for take out at the present time. In lieu of the dinner meetings you would have attended this spring, we are happy to announce that we have established a gift card program with the Thornbury Bakery Cafe.  We have taken our budget for the dinners and Thornbury Bakery Cafe has topped the amount up so that a $100 gift card will be available for every member who is current with their 2020 dues.

Dave Smith has worked with Carla to create a gift card for each current TBTA member. They have them at the Thornbury Bakery Cafe and all you have to do is ask for your card. You may use this for coffee, amazing pastries and breads,  take out food or frozen dinners to go, as well as their gluten free and keto products. You can call ahead  (519) 599-3311 to place your order and they will deliver it to you curbside in front of the bakery.

Staying close to home and not coming to Thornbury until safe to travel? Not to worry, the gift card will be at the Bakery waiting for you when you do return.

Still Need to Pay Your Dues?
If you have yet to pay your dues, please contact Carla Nicolson at carla@redbrickgroup.ca and she will process your payment and ensure that a card is ready for you at the Bakery.

Until we meet again, please be well.

Chris Allen, President and the rest of the TBTA Executive
